Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel your Redridge Digital subscription and our refund policies for our software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

2. Free Trial Period

2.1 Trial Duration

We offer a 14-day free trial for new customers to evaluate our services. The trial period begins when you create your account and activate your subscription.

2.2 Trial Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period without being charged. To avoid charges, you must cancel before the trial period ends.

2.3 Trial to Paid Conversion

If you do not cancel during the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged according to your selected plan.

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:

  • Account Settings: Log into your account and navigate to Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Email Request: Send a cancellation request to support@redridge.io
  • Customer Support: Contact our support team during business hours

3.2 Cancellation Effective Date

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • You retain access to all features until the end of your paid period
  • No additional charges will be made after cancellation
  • Your account will be downgraded to a read-only state after the billing period ends

3.3 Reactivation

You may reactivate your subscription at any time by logging into your account and updating your billing information. Reactivation will restore full access to all features.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 General Refund Policy

All subscription fees are generally non-refundable. This includes:

  • Monthly subscription fees
  • Annual subscription fees
  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused time remaining in your billing cycle

4.2 Exceptions for Refunds

We may provide refunds in the following circumstances:

4.2.1 Service Outages

  • Extended service outages exceeding 24 continuous hours
  • Data loss due to our system failures
  • Service level agreement breaches (for enterprise customers)

4.2.2 Billing Errors

  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors
  • Charges after confirmed cancellation
  • Incorrect billing amounts

4.2.3 Extraordinary Circumstances

  • Technical issues preventing service usage
  • Account security compromises due to our system vulnerabilities
  • Requests approved at our sole discretion

4.3 Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact support@redridge.io within 30 days of the billing date
  2. Provide your account email and reason for the refund request
  3. Include relevant details and documentation
  4. Allow 5-10 business days for review and processing

4.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Annual Subscription Policy

5.1 Annual Billing

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the entire year. These payments are non-refundable except in the circumstances outlined in Section 4.2.

5.2 Annual Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel an annual subscription at any time, but no refund will be provided for the unused portion. You will retain access until the end of your annual billing period.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

6.1 Suspension for Non-Payment

Accounts may be suspended for non-payment. Suspended accounts have limited access but data is preserved. Normal billing resumes upon payment of outstanding balances.

6.2 Termination by Redridge Digital

We may terminate accounts for violations of our Terms of Service. In such cases:

  • No refunds will be provided
  • You will receive notice when possible
  • Data export may be available for a limited time

7. Data Retention After Cancellation

7.1 Grace Period

After cancellation, we retain your data for 30 days to allow for reactivation. During this period, your account is in a read-only state.

7.2 Data Deletion

After the 30-day grace period:

  • All customer data is permanently deleted from our systems
  • Backups containing your data are purged according to our retention schedule
  • Some billing and legal records may be retained as required by law

7.3 Data Export

You may export your data at any time before cancellation or during the 30-day grace period. Data export features are available in your account settings.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

8.1 Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback instead of contacting us directly may result in immediate account suspension. We prefer to resolve billing disputes directly whenever possible.

8.2 Dispute Resolution

For billing disputes:

  1. Contact our support team first
  2. Provide relevant transaction details
  3. Allow us to investigate and respond
  4. We will work to resolve disputes within 10 business days

10. Policy Changes
